Clash of the Titans Movie Summary and Review

The title clash of the titans misleads the people on what they're going to see. Titans are greek gods who are under Gaia and Uranus. The movie didn't have any characters who are really considered titans. Most of them are considered Olympians. One Olympian character is Zeus. People are expecting that gods are really fighting but it's not how the movie turned out. The movie is entertaining because of the story and the cool graphics but it's not so satisfying. There are a lot of minor flaws in the movie that cannot be detected by viewers that don't think critically. The story is focused on the son of Zeus, Perseus. Perseus is a demigod. He hated Hades, the god of underworld and Zeus's brother, for killing his known human father. He wanted to avenge his father thus wanting to kill Hades. He was told that the only way to beat Hades is to destroy the Kraken. The City of Argos is in fear because Hades will release the Kraken because of their rebellion and the only way to stop it from happening is offering Princess Andromeda, their princess, who was compared by her mother to the goddess of beauty-Athena. The King won't let it happen obviously, so he sent an army to kill the Kraken which is close to impossible. The demigod Perseus is determined to kill the Kraken to be able to Avenge his father to Hades. He joined the army of the Argos and they began traveling. Hades ordered the former King, which has been punished by Zeus, to kill Perseus. This is one of the flaws of the story. From the time, Hades saw Perseus, he could have killed him. Zeus knows nothing about having a demigod son. He let Perseus live then and now he wants to kill Perseus but he order another one to do it. He could just appear out of nowhere to the army with Perseus, say hello, use his smoke tornado thing and make them all disappear, but no, maybe he's lazy so he asks the former king to do it. So, the king attacked. He failed and he ran. While running, his blood that dropped on the ground summoned giant scorpions. Some men died, but they managed to kill two of them. The other scorpions were mind controlled by some magician characters that has armor on their body, believed to be immortal, and I'm sure there's no characters like that in Greek Mythology. Perseus was poisoned but the magician characters healed it. They proceed now with their journey. Perseus hating the gods doesn't want to get the divine sword sent to him by the gods. He wants to get revenge as a man. He doesn't want to ride the Pegasus too. Another flaw of the story. The gods agreed on Hades punishment on the people. They want the people to repent and now they give a sword to help Perseus defend the people. Oh well, they proceed to their journey. They went to 3 witches that knows everything. There they knew how to kill the Kraken. It is through Medusa. One look by Medusa at the Kraken, and the Kraken will die. Before they left the witches, they told him that he will fail. Then, they proceed to Medusa's Layer. Medusa shows her power by killing all the armies but Perseus discovered a way to fight Medusa without looking at her. It's through the reflection on his armor. After estimating the position of Medusa, he jumped, spun, and slice the head of Medusa. He got the head and placed it inside a cloth. On his way out, Io(played by Gemma Arterton) is waiting outside for him. They stared at each other then the former King which is now in a beast form stabbed Io from behind and threw her. Now Perseus attacked the former King. They fought. His sword was easily destroyed. He saw his divine sword, get it and beat the hell out the former King. Io disappeared and he traveled back to Argos which is now under attack by the Kraken. It was permitted by Zeus to be released and now Hades is provoking Zeus. Hades knows that no one can stop the Kraken now, even Zeus. Zeus discovering the betrayal of Hades, remembered and told Hades that he has still a demigod son in Argos. Hades quickly disappear to disrupt Perseus in his mission. Perseus riding his Pegasus carrying Medusa's head suddenly lost the head because the flying creature produced by Hades stole the head. Now he's chasing the creature while the Kraken is doing his monster thing destroying the City. He jumped off the Pegasus to catch the creature quickly. He fell on the City, while the Kraken is about to bite Princess Andromeda. Perseus quickly responded. He climbed the ladder, get the head of Medusa and point it to the Kraken. Now the Kraken stopped. It can't move. His body turned to stone and was destroyed. Andromeda fell on the water. Hades appeared in front of him. Perseus preparing his sword, Hades said: "I am a god, I will live forever". Perseus answered: "Yeah, but not here!" He pointed his sword to the sky, the sword was empowered by Zeus, Perseus threw the sword to Hades, stabbing him, the strong power brought Hades back to the underworld. Now, Zeus thank Perseus and offered him a chance to be a god too. Perseus said that he refuses instead chose to live on earth. Zeus with a reason I don't know left reviving Io back to life for Perseus.
